Facts Over Feelings is an independent basketball statistics game. It turns familiar player debates into transparent comparisons you can inspect, replay, and argue with using disclosed numbers instead of vibes.

The project is operated by JuanMa. It is not a company, league, or betting service. There is no account system. You can play without providing a real name or email.

What you can do here

Daily Mystery Player picks one player from the site’s roster each day. Wrong guesses reveal statistical clues such as era, seasons played, peak production, championships, honors, and career averages. A shared leaderboard ranks correct entries by fewest guesses, then earliest submission.

Fantasy Five asks you to name the top regular-season producers at PG, SG, SF, PF, and C for a given season using the original Facts Over Feelings formula: PTS + 1.2×REB + 1.5×AST + 2×STL + 2×BLK − TOV.

GM Desk is the daily cap-sheet game. Each position offers four players from different teams. You pick one at PG, SG, SF, PF, and C. Salaries stay hidden until you lock. Stay under the official $164.961M cap and your score is the five’s combined 2025–26 PPG. Go over and the score is 0. One official board and one leaderboard submit per UTC day.

All-Time / Career compares longevity, maximum regular-season PRA, career per-game production, shooting, defensive counting stats, and major accolades. Sliders let you change how much longevity, production, peak output, and awards matter.

Peak Season is an editorial choice of a player’s strongest complete season story, not automatically the year with the highest PRA. It uses regular-season production, playoff production, season awards, championships, and the change in the top four teammates’ combined scoring.

Original writing and methodology

The guides and methodology pages are original explanations of PRA, peak versus max PRA, accolade weights, positions, fantasy scoring, GM Desk cap math, supporting-cast drop-off, and the limits of ranking models. Those pages exist so a visitor can see how a verdict was produced.

Data

Fantasy Five and GM Desk regular-season facts and GM Desk contract cap hits are commercially licensed from BALLDONTLIE and transformed into original Facts Over Feelings scores, rankings, and daily puzzles. Source name, license URL, seasons, calculation method, and retrieval time are retained with generated or imported records. Comparison sources are documented in the methodology. Active-player totals can change. If a number looks wrong, use the contact form.

Advertising

The site is being prepared to display third-party advertising, including Google AdSense, after a custom domain is connected and Google approves the publisher account. Ads, if enabled, are labeled separately from game content. Advertising does not change player statistics, weights, or leaderboard rules.
